I have inherited a HTC HD2 from the UK that used the T-Mobile network. The phone is locked down so that I cannot change the data network connection settings. There are code generators out there but I was hoping not to have to pay the $30 to $40 USD required to unlock. Any help appreciated. tx

Yes to be fair this is the best way. Too much can go wrong. I'd suggest paying for the service.
