I have a friend who bought a phone from the UK, its a Rome one and it was with the Orange network.  Trouble is, he is wanting to put a sim card in it, (hes back in NZ now), but the phone is locked.  Is there anyway you can get it unlocked without having to pay heaps of dollars to get them to do it etc.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers Embarassed

There is one way, and only one way.

Any other way will be against the terms you agreed to when you purchased the handset, and may result in it never working again.
