So I got my girlfriend a Samsung Wave S8500, the only problem is that paid apps are not supported in NZ. I thought it might be a good idea to create a Samsung Apps account for Australia as they support paid apps, however when adding a credit card I receive an error saying my shipping country does not match the credit card country.

The idea that they allow Australia but not NZ to have paid apps is very irritating but I guess I can understand they don't want to provide support to a country where the handset is not officially sold.

I was wondering if there is a way to pay and get an Australian credit card without being a resident of the country.

If anyone has ideas let me know.
