I was reading a forum on here from a while ago about cellphone towers and people not wanting them near their houses due to radiation. It basically involved everyone saying they were stupid and that you think the value of the house should go up with a cellphone tower outside due to better coverage.

Someone also mentioned a cellphone tower that ws pout up and people reported headaches etc and even after unknowingly to them the cellphone tower was turned off for a few months they still reported headaches, which was thought to be placebo

I was wondering if you think the radiation from cellphones is so safe what do you make of the 'hot ear' syndrome you get after talking for 20 + minutes on a cellphone. There is no placebo in that..

Why are you talking that long? lol

The main thing for me is that after many (20+?) years of Cellphone existence there is no medical evidence at all worldwide, of any increase in cancer rates or any other illnesses that could be caused by supposed radiation from cell phones...

If the radiation is harmful in some way then why would it be limited to coming from cell phones??? what about TV's, microwaves, computers, wireless phones, wireless routers etc... none of these are considered harmful?

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.

I read in an IEEE magazine (I think, but I can't find it anymore) earlier in the year that gave an update on where scientists were up to on mobile phone radiation research.

In summary, they said that scientists were putting a lot of effort into finding ways in which non-ionising radiation affects tissue, and the only way they have found is heating. And mobile phone radiation to heat enough to cause damage.

Of course one day they may find some other way it affects us...

if you are concerned with this radiation, there is a solution to neutralize this.

Simple way to stop RF radiation getting out of your phone is to wrap it in 3 or 4 layers of Aluminium foil before you use it.

Something has to get you in the end. I wasn't worried about cell phones at all, but now I am scared of lions and tigers getting into my house! Isn't there an app for that?
