By the title you probably gathered I have not got a clue. That is true.
I was thinking the Vodafone p500 version would be 900 HSDPA and the Telecom p500 version would be 850 HSDPA. Simply because Telecom operates an 850 HSDPA network and Vodafone operates a 900 HSDPA network.
I checked the P500 spec on Telecom and Vodafone, and they both list the exact same specs in the manual:
"GSM 850 / E-GSM 900 / DCS 1800 / PCS 1900 Quad Band and WCDMA Terminal Equipment"
http://www.telecom.co.nz/binarys/lg_p500.pdf
http://www.vodafone.co.nz/help/device-support/lg/p500/LG_P500_userguide.pdf
On the 2 Degrees it is listed as:
"GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 / 3G: 900/2100"
No sure at all how to interpret this. Has Vodafone got the wrong PDF? Has this particular phone variant no HSDPA capability at all and just relying on extended GSM?
Thanks!
