I've got a Nokia 6101 (wonderful phone) !

It's got a huge issue though - it seems to have *dreadful* PC connectivity

I've got one of those fake chinese CA-42 cables and it sorta works, it properly finds the phone about 1/3 of the time and often drops mid transfer.  I've got the latest Nokia PC Suite software so it's that's not an issue.

What really drives me nuts though is it seems like the IR port on this thing is broken - I've tried using a USB to IR dongle + a laptop IR port, both of which find the phone then drop almost instantly.  I've tried sticking the speed down to 110k as Nokia website recommends but doesn't seem to work.

Anyone else having these sort of issues? Any advice?

Yeah, it was always intermittent with me as well. I think I had moderate success running it at 9600 I think.

I've moved on to bluetooth now.. Not a help in your case though.
