Ok, some how I ended up with two entries for 3News and Campbell Live in the session pass list, so it recorded nothing.

I deleted all the TV3 passes and set up two new ones for 3News and CL. It's currently recording the news.

Like others I don't have 3+ listings on channel 8. Anyone know how to fix this?

I vaguely recall you can fix you season pass problem after a channel rescan by going to Season Pass manager and select Change Recording Options, then confirm you want these new options (you don't have to make any changes) and this will do an update to the new channel configuration.

You have to do it for each affected recording pass, which is a bit tedious but easier than deleting then re-doing each season pass.

Check your channel Listings settings and make sure that Ch 8 is ticked, otherwise it won't appear in your EPG listings. Is that the fix you needed?

Hey Thanks guys, I love this forum, it has always had the answers I require when something goes wrong with my TIVO. I had the same prob as others, season passes were not working on TV4, so I followed your advise Go to Season Pass manager and select Change Recording Options, then confirm you want these new options, I actually made a slight alteration of 10 episodes instead of 5, then saved it and now it is all working again Hooray!!!!!

I did try that first.  It didn't work for me.  I had to delete the Season Passes and recreate them

I discovered when I deleted them that I had two for the same show.  I am not sure if this happened when I tried the steps you outline above (sorry Dan, I wasn't paying close enough attention so I can't provide better info for your team).

Channel 8 does appear in the guide for me, it just says that the listings are to be advised.  I haven't checked the listings settings yet per your suggestion above.  I'll do that and report back.

Hi Don, just checking in to see if you have had any luck with the channel 8 (3 plus 1) EPG.  I still have "to be announced" in my program guide.  I have tried re-scanning the channels and then updating Tivo but have had no success.  Interestingly, when I do a channel scan, 3+1 is not checked as a channel i receive, I have to manually select it, is this the case for you?  Dan do you have any advice?
Cheers Adrian

We are looking into it, I am just waiting on confirmation the station identification numbers we received match, and were entered correctly.

We are still having trouble with this.

Did a rescan of the channels.

Added a brand new season pass tonight and it still didn't record.

Even checking the todo list, it often says that it will record the program, and then it doesn't. Just reports in the log.

This program was not recorded because its channel was removed from your lineup.

It's driving me nuts.

I am still having this problem too. I think there is still a problem. I had deleted all my old tv4 and 3 season passes and reset them up, and some of the new ones record but some don't, and those that don't still say the channel was removed from the lineup. I think they have redone the lineup again or something. Have missed quite a few programs and the TV4 ondemand picture quality is so poor or it keeps stopping at the adverts, it isn't worth watching it. Guess it is a first world problem though.

ya I'm having issues with season passes as well.

I haven't checked that chan 8 stuff but ya I'm getting the same issues as everyone else.

Chan 2 seasons are also not recording for me. I'm missing BBT and 2.5 Men.

TiVo was running sweet, but since that whole channel change around it's had issues.

I see Tv3 are now doing stupid things with pick a movie now as well. So now I don't even know what's on and what we're going to see, so we just spent the night on the net.

TV guys are just killing off their product. Wonder how long before advertisers catch on?

I'd like TiVo to get their net content sorted out to have stuff I'm interested in at a sensible price point. We'd spend $20 bugs a month. I know that's not a lot, but surely it's enough to build a business case for the sort of content I'm interested in?

I did rescan of channels, deleted season pass.

I then reset up season pass.

Under the to do menu it shows that it's going to record.

Then go to top menu into to do list, it says it won't record because someone in your household deleted the season pass.

So i delete season pass, set up another season pass, but because ones been deleted, it ignores new season pass set up.

Waited till program on and it didn't record.

If set up season pass on new program that hasn't been set up before works fine.

Just checked on season pass one for monday and it recorded.
The menu that said it wouldn't record is in recording history, looks like that one doesn't update in real time, but it doesn't have won't record next to anything now. Must take a day or two for recording history to update when make changes.

So in theory going by what rugrat said, a solution might be to reset the whole system and start from scratch like it was when I got it out of the box. Lose all my saved shows and then the season passes might work again. I am prepared to try this, but I just thought I would see what you guys think before I lose everything.

I'm considering a full reset as well. But am holding off doing so. I would be really interested if it was found to work.

Have also been afflicted with the Season Pass issues. Will try the channel re-scan, delete then re-setup of all season passes.
