BigHammer: OP said there were no conflicting programs so doesn't look like a priority issue. I had a look at the listing and checked Upcoming Episodes, and it does show Wednesdays in the list so they appear to be linked. With the information provided I can only find one reason, but who knows? Just a TiVo gremlin causing havoc?
UPDATE I think it is definitely a gremlin. I triple checked the show would record last night and joy it did! Trouble is it recorded last weeks show. I've checked the date and it definitely recorded last night. But it was definitely last weeks show. It was raining, they went to Bunning's, they had to deal with leaking tarps, there was still no DIY - exactly like last week. I think I will do the old "pull power plug and reboot the Tivo" trick to see if that helps.

Haha yes, there have been six shows now, and barely a tool used. Talk about puffing it out. I think if they cut out the advertorials, the Bunning/Wild Bean/Radio Station shots, the recapping after the ad-break (who cannot remember what happened 3 minutes previously??) they could have a one-hour show a week. I'd still MySky it to fast forward through the Bunnings/Wild Bean/Radio Station ads that are also in the ad-breaks.

Funny - my partner and I were talking about that just last night...I thought they could call it something like "The Block NZ 'I don't have the memory of a goldfish, and I'm not going to buy Ryobi/Bunnings/Wild Bean no matter how many much you ram it down my throat' edition"
