I see Bond and Bond/Noel Leemings don't have the TiVo listed on their website anymore. Out of stock? or excluded from their big boxing day sales?

I think they are clearing them for a new 1TB model, as that is the model now being sold in Aus. $199 is a steal though, there is nothing else that compares at that price.

Convinced my in-laws and my folks to get one, and got one for my birthday, I'm hoping they're good, otherwise I'm in for an earful.

Or just someone with different opinion, in this case.

You shouldn't have any problems.  It is fairly intuitive and easy to use.

It is a really good product if you are after a PVR.

Yes, not trolling, just reassuring Cutcut how good TiVo UI is in comparison to some other PVRs.

I got the UHF aerial hooked up today, and we confirmed that the fairly new 46" Samsung LCD brought back froom Australia does not receive FreeviewHD. I mentioned that TiVoHD was now only $299, possibly still on sale for $199 (they were not), my father-in-law rushed out and bought one! Now I won't have to listen to my wife's fury over some other frustration of the T-box.

Maybe not in all branches but I definitely saw them yesterday at $199 as mentioned in an earlier topic.

weird. Apparently the Guy at Noel Leeming even looked it up on the computer to see if he could do it cheaper. Oh well good price anyway.
