We have noticed that any series link recordings we have on TV3 consistently start early and finish early.  Our TV1 recordings are perfectly on the button but with TV3 we are losing the end of any shows.

Is this happening to anyone else ?

No, it's not happening to me, but why don't you add X minutes before the scheduled time as per the options in MySky setup?

We always set our recordings to 'extended' finish, because TV stations never seem to run exactly to time. There is another option to chose what happens in the case of an overlap - trim the shows, or cancel the second one.

The problem isn't the tivo, it's the tv station not keeping to their published schedule

In my experience, TV3 is the worst for keeping to schedule, but it appears to be the only one that consistently STARTS a program before the scheduled time. There is no excuse for this but a general air of incompetence which is sad for a station which has so much going for it. Everyone can understand a station getting behind schedule - often for reasons beyong their control, but starting early is just dumb.

I always set my recordings to start 5 minutes prior and use extended for the ending. Even then sometimes on TV3 we only just catch the start of some programs.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation
