Hi, for some reason my Tivo320gb refuses to insta record or series record the news, it will record everything else but not the 6pm news wtf?
Only way it records is just by default in its "pause/replay buffer" (sorry for incorrect term) because its switched to that channel
I rescanned channels , I think there is something I read about this a while ago but it escapes me

Is it already recording it when you turn on and decide you want to record it?

If you are in the middle of the show and it is actually already recording, if you hit record then you won't be able to find the program in the usual list of shows you recorded.

I struck this the other day as I was convinced it was recording but couldn't find it - turns out it was actually in the "TiVo suggestions" folder as it had decided to record the program for me based on my preferences.

Check your TiVo suggestions and see if you have a bunch of 6pm news in that folder? Please let me know if this was correct or not.

Works now for the first time since new, literally within a day or two of me posting this by coincidence, they must have updated something or other
