Recently purchased one of these for the spare room.

But the Tivo remote Soniq codes don't work.

Can anyone advise of other codes to try?

Have you tried going through the entire database?
cover the end of the remote, then hold down TiVo+TVpower until LED remains lit. Then press 0 9 9 9
Press channel down (repeatadly), until your TV turns off (hopefully). Then press Enter. The LED should go out.
If you get to the end of the database (LED turns off) and your TV doesn't turn off, bad luck. There is no way to add more codes to the remote, as it is IR transmitting only, no receiver.

If none of the codes work then get a learning remote.

I couldn't use one learning remote to control two Tivos - I found that both Tivos would respond when I pressed the some buttons.

There is a way to do this.
