Ok, I never watch Trackside, shopping or listen to the radio stations. I thought I could delete these from the channel line up but after taking the tick out of the box and saving then channels keep re appearing. Any ideas if channels can actually be deleted from line up?

Don't show up for me. Remove tick from the box under "Channel List": Go to Finished: Done!

Try holding the remote in the other hand, sit on a different chair and drink coffee while you're doing it. ;-)

Maybe restart the TiVo?

In the channels list in settings, untick it to remove from favourites or hit the "Clear" button to delete it completely.

I got rid of Trackside, Parliament, Chinese TV, Shopping

Not to mention test channels that just seem to hang around for no apparent reason. An extra TV2+1 on 369 or something or other? Still?

Thansk. Tried all those (except restart tivo). Shouting doesn't work either even if it is loudly! I'll try the Clear button  and restart tonight.

Whatever you do, don't use twink on the TV or throw the remote at it. Guaranteed to make the situation worse!

Id never use twink. Learnt that lesson when I tried to clean the tivo heads with a cotton bud and IPA!

OK, in the end I powered off the Tivo, unplugged it then rebooted. Did a new channel scan.

Then I went through each channel and took the tick out of the box for those I didn't want (I didn't hit the "Clear" button)

So far it looks like it has removed the channels I don't want.

Thanks for your ideas.
