I have a Season Pass for a programme and tell Tivo to record +3 mins at end, as end keeps getting chopped

it always records exactly 60 mins

I went thru Season Pass manager there is only this 1 pass for the series

i deleted it and recreated it and added +3 mins, still it only records 60

what am I doing wrong?

this is a US show that is on TV here and unobtanium on Netflix or Hulu otherwise I wouldn't care
