TIVO 3 - SETTINGS >> NETWORK >> VIEW NETWORK DIAGNOSTICS

 

 

 

it says - Port Configuration test: >> testing, then FAILED.

 

 

 

Ive googled & found that a port configuration test may be for USA Tivo only & not applicable in NZ.

 

 

 

1) has anyone in NZ got their test to "succeed" (or not fail).

 

2) If it is OK in NZ & you can get it to be working - Is there a way to find out which port TIVO is trying to access ?

 

 

 

EDIT: i know there are probs with TIVO in NZ, but ive only seen this today & havn't seen any discussion - maybe it can be fixed & resolve some probs.

I directly and indirectly have access to 3 TiVo's and when running tests for whatever reason over time the port test always fails but they all connect and work perfectly fine.  I just ignore it.
