All was going swimmingly until a couple of days ago when I noticed a few channels showing "To be announced" ...

I got a message or two about activating the unit (it has been, a long time ago - and when I attempted to do it again, this was confirmed)

I have a very strong internet connection and have done a couple of force connects to the TiVo service but nothing has helped..

I have restarted it - once. But I try to avoid that because the thing is so damned slow to reboot!!

On the Network Diagnostics screen the Port configuration test shows "Failed", even after connecting to the TiVo service.

Nothing has changed on my home network and I certainly haven't changed any of the settings in the TiVo...

Anyone have any ideas?

Which channels are showing "to be announced ? I find it's not uncommon for new channels being added & deleted to the channel list according to received TiVo messages.

Currently HGTV 17, Hope Channel 27 have no programming information ( on the Waikato list)

After a forced connection to TiVo service does it show as "last attempt succeeded" under network settings ?

Ignore the Port Configuration Test, it always fails and from memory always has.

I'll have a look at our four TiVos tomorrow and check they're all okay, in case it's an issue with the TiVo service itself. This has happened once or twice in the last couple of years.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13

The only two that aren't are 6 and 9

That's the full list of channels I wish to view...

(I'm in Auckland)

Cheers - will have to resort to Netflix in the meantime :)

Looks like the EPG is back tonight, but I have no signal on any channel, so I suspect an aerial issue.

My Season Pass recordings will take a hit for the next few days until I can get my aerial guy in to put his meter on it. Maybe the recent storms have damaged the connection on the roof...

Ah that sucks. All four of ours are okay, I checked this morning then got side tracked and forgot to mention it here. Hopefully it's not a major issue and an easy fix! Good luck!
