After many months of Tivo Genie returning an error when attempting to schedule a recording, I've discovered it is working again (more or less) for me.

It does schedule the recording, but there is no positive confirmation that it has done so either within the Genie web page, or via email. Instead within Genie, it goes from a "PENDING" status to "CONFLICT", with a message of "It seems we have not received a confirmation from your Tivo media device - that doesn't mean it hasn't been scheduled."

Someone else want to give it a try and report back?

Just to clarify, the recording is made successfully, it's just the scheduling confirmation that is missing.

I used Genie to record something on Sunday night while we were out. Didn't get any errors like your, and the programmes was recording when we got home

TiVo genie is working fine for me but with no confirm or conflict emails being sent. However the messages on the message menu are being displayed with the appropriate information.

The Genie service was fixed a few weeks ago but with the regular EPG updating issue it went unnoticed. I tested it about a week ago and worked fine but can't remember if it sends a confirmation once set. Pretty sure my account is only set to email if there's a conflict.
