HI,

Can anyone help with this problem I have with two Tivos.  Both have been moded so they are working fine.  My problem is when I go into Now Playing List and click on the other media device which does show on each of them - so they recognise each other no problem but when I go into either of them I get "MEDIA DEVICE HAS NO RECORDINGS"  When there is plenty on both.  I have rebooted both and rebooted the network and Im still getting the message????

thanks

I'm assuming you have the Home Networking Package and both Tivos were originally registered to your original MyTivo account, and previously you were able to copy recordings between Tivos?

Unfortunately this feature has stopped working since October 2017, as a result of a key that has expired. Previously it was renewed regularly when connecting to the Hybrid Mothership. This will have happened, whether or not your Tivos had been modified. The developers are well aware of this unexpected issue, and are hoping to recover this feature, but it won't be easy, and no promises that it will be resolved. Fingers crossed for good news in the future. As a workaround, if you have the Tivo Desktop software, and both Tivos are still equipped with their media keys, you'll still be able to transfer recordings to and from a PC on your network.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz

Thank you for the explanation.  Yes I have the desktop plus networking thing and I have tried to transfer to pc but an issue with that is the size of the files are huge and one program takes a 5 hours to transfer.  Im going to need another hard drive or revert back to tv on demand.  What a shame.  I used this feature alot.

thanks
Julie
