I haven't used the Harmony for a few years. I do recall that it wasn't easy in accommodating DVR devices as it wanted to power them on and off - not a common requirement for these devices which are normally left on 24/7 and only moved to and from standby.

I'm also concerned about the duplication of the chapter/bookmark control which is now used to step forward in a 30" jump so is heavily used to leap through ad breaks. This was the first button to fail on my original Tivo remote.

Maybe your Harmony 1 has a different setup system from the 650?

Yes - no problems here. Got it set up so that I push the TV button and TV turns on, then amp which defaults to tivo and buttons then navigate Tivo. Does all the usual play stop / 3 second skip/ record/ guide etc. Whats teh issue?
