Has anyone else had a problem with TV3 vanishing off TiVo altogether? And the sound has vanished on TV3 on the second of the two I run. The channels still exist when not run through TiVo. Programming has also become haphazard, starting recording late to catch half a programne, or 10 minutes of another. I've rebooted both - no difference.

There are no known problems with TV3 in relation to Tivo that I'm aware of, but you haven't mentioned your location to it could be a problem with the site you receive your TV signals from. It's very unlikely to be a Tivo tuner problem if only TV3 is affected, and I would tend to suspect you either have an aerial signal problem, or should at least retune your channels. Once done, also use the menu option to check your TV signal quality and levels on each channel if a problem still exists. This is one area where genuine issues with Tivos are extremely rare.

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz

TV3 vanishing off TiVo

bug or feature? 🤣

edit: sorry - that's probably not helpful. It's just that I have recently moved into a property that has a tv antenna and I have been able to get a small glimpse of what an appalling mess has become of fta tv (particularly TV3).

Check to see if a standard digital tv/tuner will pick it up - as mentioned it's probably antenna alignment or another signal issue, though odd if you can still get other MediaWorks / Discovery channels like Bravo - if it was the antenna I'd kind of expect lower quality signal across those channels or nothing at all from that network

As mentioned above also do a channel scan again

Also the TiVo from memory doesn't have the best of digital tuners. It doesn't like a weak signal .   I used to have lots of problem with the Mediaworks  stations when I was in Auckland with my TiVo.
