Everytime I start my PC (XP Home), the TiVo desktop always wants to download (I think) Tivo Pictures 2.0.
Anyone have the same problem and/or has solved it.

Which version of TiVo desktop have you installed? And is it from the NZ site?

Tuataras were once feared by Māori as the messengers of Whiro, god of death and disaster.  Today, tuataras are regarded as a taonga (treasure), and as the kaitiaki (guardian) of the trails to the realms of the mind and spirit that give humans life.

I this problem, I solved it by following steps.
1. Uninstall Tivo Home networking package completely of the pc.
2. In My case Windows 7  - Navigate to User folder (C:\user\loginname\AppData\Tivo) AppData will be hidden folder.  Make sure the your windows explorer can view hidden files as well.
3. Delete the Tivo folder complete.

4. Reinstall the home Networking package from the www.mytivo.co.nz website.

This should solve your problem

Let me know if this solves the problem.

I uninstalled Tivo Desktop via Revo and re-booted.
The only folder I could find to delete (and I did) was
C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\TiVo Desktop

I have re-installed 2.8 and clicked on Preview Photos 2.0 ...

Did another re-boot and haven't had the message about it downloading the software again.
If it re-occurs I will post back.

Many thanks.
