Mines been at zero since December and I'm pretty sure I would have been over my allowance some months since then but have not been billed for any over use.

i thought it was just me.
they should advertise unlimited broadband as another benefit of tivo, they might sell more of them

i wonder if I should go onto the lowest plan?

I know this is a late reply but
Damn it, I have been suffering data shaping and the inability to watch streaming media uninterupted since I got TiVo for nothing?

Has anyone changed from say Big Time to Adventure and still maintained a 0.00 usage with being a TiVo user?

Please please please delete this thread! I want to keep my zero rated BB!

Well since they are changing me soon anyway and they have confirmed that all contracts have been removed from my account, I don't really have anything to lose at this stage.

PS maybe you should have PM'd me in that case Wink

Actually it isn't a glitch. I received this from them today. They know they aren't recording their usage, maybe this is why they have to dump the Big Time plan, to make room for TiVo users and their uncapped FS/FS usage. ;)  i just wonder how long "At Present" will last.

"I have checked the services on your Telecom Account and see that you have Tivo. At present Telecom are not recording any broadband usage at all for customers that have Tivo. You can check this yourself by logging into your broadband usagemeter at www.telecom.co.nz/usagemeter "

Yes, they might know about it but there is no need to bring it to their attention.
Forget about it and enjoy it while it lasts please.
Let's hope there is no more discussion about it...

Good work! I suggest you email Telecom daily telling them you are getting unlimited broadband, and then maybe they can put a stop to it.

It amazes me that people do this.  If you are getting something for free, or something over and above what you should, keep your mouth shut.

I don't see this lasting much longer, and you'll have yourself to blame.
