Telecom have cut the price of TIVO again for their landline customers.

As long as you have your landline service with Telecom you can purchase a TIVO for $360.00

Wow, just wow. How p'd off would you be if you paid $920 for it or are paying it off monthly and are still expected to pay the full whack even if you have already paid well over $360 so far?

At that price a 2nd one for the bedroom is conceivable.

Just wondering where you say this offer? I cannot see anything on the Telecom site, except the standard $499.

Do you have a URL?

I see on the site it's $499, where is it listed for $360?

mate works at Telecom said it was announced today. Not sure what promo they are doing for it.
someone from Telecom who monitors Geekzone may be able to jump in and confirm this.

Sound a bit odd, I mean it would mostly appeal to people who have Telecom broadband, and therefore most likley Telecom landline anyway.  Rang Telecom helpdesk and they say still $499.

Like others wouldn't mind a bit of confirmation.

Lazy is such an ugly word, I prefer to call it selective participation

Ask your "Mate" .. He is the one who told you this.. or maybe he doesn't work there now as he didn't take any notice of his NDA.

Thanks

Yeah, +1, tell you mate to be careful what he says if the information is still internal (which I guess it is)

Telecom is very good at finding who spilled the beans. A few people lost their jobs because of that. Tell your friend that's why we have a warning here.

$360.00 is the correct price for TiVo for Telecom landline customers at the moment (since the 11th). Just charge into your local Telecom store. Marketing will start very soon but the offer is avaliable now.

i did just that yesterday. and all good as the man above says, thanks to this post, we sort of mentioned it, the guy looked at the other guy in the store,  and went yes, sure.

Walked in and walked out with one with no money changing hands, just tacked onto the bill monthly, 10 dollars, cant be bad..

How long is this going for? And will you be able to pay it off on your bill like you can with the 900dollar one?
