I asked Tivo support these questions but there answer was less than helpful.  So I thought i would try here before going back to them.

1)  If a show is recording on 1 Tivo I cannot transfer it to the second until it has stopped recording.  Is this how it works for others?

2)  You are meant to be able to pause a show and then start playing it on another Tivo from the paused position.  Has anyone been able to do this?  I can't figure out how.
