I am having problems streaming music from my Pc to Tivo device. I have downloaded Tivo desktop and published music as described.

From the Tivo device I can see 'Music on my PC' however when I select it, I get please wait' for a few seconds then it returns to the menu.

I have not purchased a MAK, but when I was going through the set up process it said you could proceed without one and still be able to stream music and photos. '

Any help appreciated

I tried TIVO desktop but couldn't get it to work. I now use Galleon available free from here: http://galleon.sourceforge.net

Tivo desktop works fine for me.
Another option that I've used is Audiofaucet - http://www.digitaldroplet.net/digitaldroplet/Home.html

Thanks for your replies. I contacted Tivo and got a response!

Do I need to purchase the Home Network Package to achieve what I am trying? If so i feel a bit stupid in wasting your time.
