HDR secret - either you do it manually, or use the secret Topaz Adjust (ONE CLICK) or - get the Canon 6D/5DMkIII and shoot Faithful +1 Saturation the camera does it for you.

My favourite is Topaz Adjust hands down. Seriously I am a purist, like to do it properly, but Topaz/Canon has made me struggle. A lot.

So i found a most boring shot. In fact it was to test lighting. I did two different clicks on Topaz Adjust with 2 different results. Purists are going to hate me now! (If the sky had ANY colour it would be spectacular, unfortunately I selected the most boring shot with nothing to play with seemingly.)

Typically when composing, I looks for both foreground and background elements that are interesting, and any sort of leading lines to draw the eye into the image.
