Hi mate, sorry I did not answer your question previously.

- Considering that the HD was formated and after running a restoration process, I was able to have the files with the correct name. I made some copies of these files and I noticed that the time expended by Windows copying these files felt like a normal time.

- After the process was completed, I was not able to play any of these videos and now as a second stage, I am trying to fix them because I believe that they are corrupted.

If you can't skip through them with VLC, then I'd say the mft that holds the file names was fine, henc eyou have file names, but the actual files are nothing more than "data" not video content at all.

You could look to upload one and see if anyone wants the challenge to "recover" the file...

What tool did you use to do the "recovery". and are any of the photos fine?

If it's of any help, I've had success recovering video and jpg files using paid recovery software called "GetDataBack" from Runtime Software - https://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm

I have used Photorec and Testdisk with some success. It can be slow and leaves you with a bunch of files that you have to sort thru.
