The first pic gives a better shot of how bright the lights are, the camera (S21) is quite good at enhancing night or dark surroundings.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

Wow that flipper is so white it’s like it was dipped in snow. Beautiful shots. How lucky you were to see something like this. I admit had to look up Busselton, never heard of it.

They look like they're having so much fun...a whale of a time, if you will.

Great pics! Had to go to Flickr to see the exif data. How do you find the 70-350? I have the same camera body actually but with the kit lens.

@mudguard I like it a lot, and when you get shots like the ones above you think "this is why I've spent al this money on gear".  I bought it when it first came out (3 years ago now),  I wanted needed a zoom and I had some cash.  if I was in the market for a zoom today I'd also be considering the Tamron and Sigma offerings.

I do some kids portrait portraphotography, so you'll never see me post pics of that, but this little fella interrupted my shoot two days ago.

Canon R6 + Sigma 105mm f/1.4 , and yes it's highly cropped.

Next set ready from recent travel, this time a full out there location in northern Vietnam.
Bespoke everything here and something otherworldly / fairy tale movie set vibes.

That is simply superb and almost feels ancient. Wouldn’t like those pots over my head here in Wellington. I so love Vietnam it has changed a lot since I was there at a time when Europeans were a rare sight and a little suspect.

A few months ago I posted a pic of a breaching whale.  That was one of a burst of nine shots.  It being such a wet, miserable day today gave me the time and motivation to do some straightening and cropping of the sequence.
