Great macros Raikyn, from what I've seen it takes a lot a skill to get good photos when you're beyond the 1:1 point, but you seem to be nailing it.

Been to busy to post daily, so here's a few from over the last month or two:

70-200mm f2.8 on a full frame body. Looking at getting a 120-300mm f2.8 soon for a bit more reach.

Anyone here used a 150-600 either sigma or tamron?
I mean I love my 400mm L f5.6 but more reach would be nice.

Anyway, another macro since that's what I've been doing lately

the 150-600 sigma sport is decent (not razor sharp but ok sharp)

the tamrom is very soft between 500-600 but very sharp below that - so no good really

the sigma non sport isn't released yet but i'm guessing not as good as big brother

Cool shots :)

In regards to a big telephoto I might just get a 1.4 extender for my 400 f5.6 for now. What does that take the fstop down to? I'll have to check what my camera min fstop for autofocus is.

Anyway.

Taken at about 2:1

Edit: I hate the way this forum cuts up shots :(
