Handsomedan:

Having had my formative years in the 70's and 80's I am quite terrified of Grizzly Bears and Quicksand.

As beautiful as they are, Grizzlies terrify me, due to the movies and TV - I guess the same can be said for sharks and towering infernos.

What terrifies me is wild-eyed humans suddenly appearing out of the shadows.

I'm not a huge fan of abstract stuff but I was messing about today with my macro lens and some oil and water and I quite like the results.

On a tree we grew from a seedling.  Great to see these return each year.

Colour and focus looks perfect! We have to bribe ours with sugar water. That said about a dozen houses in a row have them out so they call in at each house and move down the row.

We've got a new feeder that the ants and wasps can't get into which is nice.

Manfeild MG Classic Cars Racing event this weekend.  Great to see these classics not only still maintained and running, but actually being used on the race track too?!

I messed around some more today with my macro lens photographing water, oil and food colouring. I quite like the 'cosmic' vibe they give off.

Not exactly today's shot, sorry. I was going through some old ones, this is from 2016 when I was playing around with starbursts and light-trails. A cop with the neh-nehs on just happened to come through which produced quite a cool effect.
Bonus points for anyone who can pick the location.

Paremata roundabout facing north. Mobil Service Station on the right. I'm guessing you were standing on the pedestrian overbridge.
