Well i have images for briefs one and two down, three four and five are eluding me for the time being.

I don't want to be taking images of the first theme that takes my fancy which is tricky. Incense and confetti bring certain themes straight to the top of the list and the sound does too so I need to start thinking outside of the box for them.

Hmm yeah... but oh well, its only going to take a day or so to get them all done, so Im still going to enter jsut for the fun of it and maybe learn a trick or two :)

Not if he only does it for fun and doesn't get paid. You can be very skilled and still be an amateur.

Not if he only does it for fun and doesn't get paid. You can be very skilled and still be an amateur.

Agreed, not to mention that there are ways to get smoke to fall rather than rise... ;) I'm a bit stuck on smoke at the moment, as well as the sound byte brief. Will try and get them locked in this weekend with any luck.

Uploaded my other entries the other day but they don't seem to appear in the pool of entries on the website so there will probably be many others not shown there as well.

Its bit of an open competition really..... whats stopping me getting my mate down the road who is a professional photographer etc to take some wicked shots and upload them under my name ?

As I said above, Im still going to enter for the fun of it. If I win (heh), great, I finally get a DSLR camera that Ive been hanging out for :)

Well if the first images uploaded scared anyone off, then the ones up now certainly will, I seriously thought I had a shot but now i'm not so sure... :(

If some of these people aren't doing photography as their profession then i'm a flying pig who likes to wear tights and smoke cigars.

Just over a week to go before the last day that images must be uploaded... (the 21st)

I've done all of mine and have begun to notice quite a few 'copy cats' This is my image, uploaded a few days after uploads were opened and this is one uploaded just yesterday. I know they could have taken their image before me, but it does make me a little annoyed i didn't just wait until next week to upload my images... not that it matters really as i'm well below the bar for winning anything.

I've noticed a few others with very similar images too. It'll be interesting to see which get to be finalists heh.
