Hey All.
I have a few high quality panaromic photos I want to have printed onto canvas.

The sizes I am looking at are going to probably be around 30x90 or 40x120.

Looking at using the canvas printer. They seem good. Anybody got any recomendations about them or care to recommend somewhere else?

What units are you using?

Why canvas over a photographic print? You'll get better color and detail from a photo. There's a good lab in the US called Elco that do great prices on prints up to 60", I have a couple block mounted in my place.

I like the look of a good quality canvas print on a box frame. Thanks for the link, will check it out.

You can print a 6000px image any width you want, really. 1.2 meters would be fine, probably even two meters so long as you don't stand too close to it. I have a 50" print from a 4000px wide file that looks great.

Canvas does have a nice look.

www.myworld.co.nz

I've used a couple firms up in Auckland and none can beat the quality of My World.  I've had a few canvases done by them recently and they are very good, and packaged really well (they ship up from Wellington)

Can't recommend them highly enough.

For those that are keen on seeing how these turned out:

I bought two from http://www.thecanvasprinter.co.nz, took about 2weeks to arrive. Think they came from Australia. Very happy with the quality and probabl;y going to be buying again.
Came to Total : 143.50 ( NZD ) including delivery.

I’ve used http://www.gicleeprint.co.nz/gicleeprint/index.php who were recommended to me.  Impressed with the result.

Very nice Braaiguy.

I've got a scenery shot I took up in Opua back in Feb that I want to put on canvas, so cheers for the link!
