I'm sorry if I've already asked this a couple of years ago.

I'd like to make a filmstrip of some jpeg images, with some background music, and then be able to play on an external DVD.

So far I've made a filmstrip in Win Movie Maker, which of course plays in media Player.  I've been looking at various free converters, but not having any luck.

I'd appreciate advice - first on free converters, and secondly, is it worth buying the software?

Many thanks

What version of Windows are you running?

Windows 7 has a built in application called "Windows DVD Maker".

It will do exactly what you want.

Ahh, wondered why you hadn't discovered the built in Windows 7 one yet... ;-)

In that case, you could give Freemake Video Converter a go.

or, I think DVD Flick also does JPEG slideshow type things.

Hang on, I'm pretty sure Picasa also does a Slideshow DVD type thing as well
