Does anyone know what type of photograph print works best for resin coating? I tried using a print from kodak express in a gloss finish and after applying a sealant and burnishing it lost some of the image.

I will try for matt finish and see how that goes...or am I best to try a laser or inkjet print?

I've never heard of a resin coating.

I hadn't either til recently...it is a bit of a process but it covers the image with a mirror glass finish hard as rock.  I do visual art and have taken some photos of my works to insert onto metal backings called bezels to make miniature artworks for key rings, pendants etc.

Yes some resins do discolor over time but I have bought a jewelers grade resin...very expensive lol
