Hi there,
I am looking for a solution which will allow a customer to catalogue (with tags) a lot of media files - about 9TB of video, images and audio.  They then want their internal users to be able to search on these and retrieve them.
They have expressed an interest in restricting access to certain media by user or user group.
They've also talked about the ability to upload for example a high-res TIF and have it transcoded for the downloading user to a lower res jpg.

I've done some Googling and have some options - but was wondering if anyone has any experience in the above area and can recommend anything.  They've also talked about scanning documents, allowing OCR to read it and use the OCR'd text for searching.

Any help much appreciated.

Bryan

Hi Bryan,
I think I know exactly what would work for this. PM'd as I do work for the provider.
