I bought this monitor today at PB Tech for $412 (GST incl).

It's a 25" monitor that presents 3D in passive mode. It uses exactly the same 3D glasses as you buy at the cinema for $1. I have tried both the single pair that came with the screen and a pair of $1 3D's from Hoyts...and the experience is identical.

It properly displays all the 3D photos and videos from both my LG 3D Max phone and my Fuji Real 3D W3 digital camera. It also presents 3D videos on YouTube correctly via the "interleaved" display option on YouTube.

It also has an option for displaying 2D content as 3D....which seems to work. The depth effect is quite mild, but definitely there.

I'm over the Moon. It's awesome.

Back in my day there was only one dimension, and you felt lucky to have it. Some people couldn't even afford that one dimension, so they had to put up with a vague dark misty nothingness. Eventually two dimensions came along and everyone felt like a rich man, they couldn't believe the detail. Now there's three dimensions, I'm not sure I can keep up. What's next, four dimensions, so you can see the excel spreadsheet you're going to create next week? No thanks, I'll keep my two dimensions and I'll be quite content with that.
