As title suggests what's the cheapest way to get a 24exp 35mm film developed these days? I went to Noel Leeming and Warehouse Stationery and they looked at me like I was a weirdo when I asked :) Do I have to take it to a photography/camera store? I'm in Auckland.

I found an old film in back of a drawer that I know must be a good 15 years old. It seems intact and sealed. Is it likely to still have something worth seeing on it? Am intrigued to know what is on it!

Actually Warehouse Stationery used to develop film when I worked there ten years ago, although we sent them off to a third party so it took a day or two to send them off and get them back.

I'm not surprised that they're no longer offering the service though, as there didn't seem to be too much demand even back in those days.

The Noel Leeming guy actually chuckled at me lol :)

The WS guy suggested I try Camera House. I guess I'll ring around a few places like that tomorrow

You would probably be paying around $30 to get it developed. Pros sometime still use film so it will still be possible to get it developed. But your film may have had it, as it has an expiry date.
