Hi all,
Tossing up about the GoPro3+ Black (comes with remote) or the silver (cheaper and purchase the remote separately).
Anyone had any first hand experience with these?

I had the same decision to make when I purchased my GoPro, if you have an Android or iOS Smartphone then you can just use that as the wifi remote instead which ended up being the reason why I got the silver.

I had this choice with the GoPro3 (not +). Went for Silver and don't regret it. Don't really need the remote and have not purchased it, but of course it depends on your usage!

Gopro 3+ Silver is the equivilant of the 3 black. For the majority of people the 3+ Silver would be sufficient.
Dont bother with the remote the app's are far more useful.

I bought the silver and regret I didn't get the black. I use mine for kayaking and not having the remote is a major pain in the butt. If you are using yours for activities where you don't want to have your phone out then go for the black. Otherwise silver is the way to go.

P.S. Anyone with a remote they don't use I'll take it off your hands :)

Ended up getting the Hero 4 Silver, on special at Dick Smith.
Can anyone recommend a good place to get extra mounts (tripod, car dash etc) plus a monopod. GoPro accessories are expensive.

Thanks in advance

Try aliexpress.com. Plenty of accessories on there.

Cheers, Matt.

/edit: Updated link for gopro stuff.

Your not looking at the GoPro 4 version?
The 3's suit your requirements?
