We find we are increasingly using iPhones for family videos. Other than optical zoom, the old video recorder just can't compare for quality or convenience.
Problem is I cannot figure out a way (free or cheap) to do some basic editing of the .mov files once downloaded onto PC. All I am looking for is an equivalent to Windows Movie Maker, a simple title, ability to trim and join, and perhaps one or two options on export.
I have tried several options converting the .mov file to .mp4 using Handbrake, but Windows Movie Maker just won't read it, seems to load OK but comes out blank with just the sound. I could do it on the phone but spare memory is limited (it's a work phone thus the smallest available).
GZ search doesn't really give me an answer.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
