We have an older Ricoh camera. Just in the last month or so, it has consistently started taking faulty pictures, with stripy horizontal lines across the images. Here's an example below:

Has anyone had a similar problem with their camera?

It looks as if the sensor is dying, but try another SD card.

I'd try another SD card first. Also reset the camera, and if you haven'y already, remove the battery, leave it out for a bit, then put it back in and try again.
