Hi, I hope is ok to ask here.
I am looking at getting an action camera for my partner. He is a tractor driver and gets to some crazy (safe) places and would be great for him to be able to do short videos.
I cant afford a gopro so I was wondering what other camera I could get, affordable and good enough.
Thanks

Check out the XiaoMi Yi cameras as they are basically gopro clones.
The 1080p version goes for around 140NZD while the 4k/30fps one is around 350NZD.

This. 1000x this.

You can buy it from Aliexpress, or a million other places such as banggood or gear best etc.

I own about nearly a dozen of the original Yi Action Camera! (sub NZ$100 each) With a few small mods it is as good as a GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition.

And their new 4K camera is even better!
