I have been wanting to buy an action camera, something like GoPro session hero 5.

But hero 5 lasts only 2 hours max, I'd like something small (hero 5 would be a good size but probably also limiting the battery size) and can last ideally up to 4-5 hours.

Any idea?

Thanks in Advance.

You will probably have to go for multiple batteries and swap them out since they are all trying to make the smallest possible camera they can.

5 hours of footage sounds riveting.

Do you need it to be waterproof during that period?

Sony have a sale which ends today, their camera has better image stablisation if that is something important to you.

http://store.sony.co.nz/FDRX3000.html#start=1

Battery life is only 135 minutes though, i don't know if you will get anything that comes close to what you want.

Thanks, that could be the solution for me.

water proof is probably not that important for me, I'd use it mainly on road cycling in good weather.

This one looks a little too big, I'd like something can be mounted on a cycling helmet.
