Looking at something simiple to read exif/gps data and allow me to tag photos with some subjects.

Needs to be able to access a network drive (unc/mapped) and preferably not alter the photos to insert tags - so use a local DB for tag names.

Anyone know of anything?

What would be even better would be if there was a companion IOS app where I could tag the photos first before they're put on disk....but only a nice to have, and probably pretty unlikely (thought I understand lightroom does this)

All photos tend to go camera, phone, to machine at home.  Currently all to one folder...then I have a program I wrote which reads the exif, and depending on camera manufacturer copies to different structures.  I'm hoping the at rest structure is what the collection with see and analyse.
