Can anyone recommend a good tripod for use with an old Canon 1100D?
I think I had quite a sturdy Manfrotto one but lost it in a fire.

What is a good, reasonably-priced one?

A late reply but any decent tripods would do like MeFoto, Feisol etc.... Look at the weight you are willing to carry, carbon cost more but are lighter.  Also look at the collapsed size, I got a traveler style tripod where the legs flip back 180 deg because I could stuff it inside my daypack instead of carrying by hand when I travel or using a should strap.

Thanks. In the end I splashed out almost $300 for a Manfrotto 290 xtra. I figure it was really too much but I wanted something sturdy and long-lasting.
