Hi

I am setting up a new laptop and had difficulty downloading and installing PSE 18.  It would only download part of the file, so eventually I gave remote access to Adobe, and they installed PSE 18, but also Creative Cloud, which I don't want.

I assume I can uninstall it without affecting my PSE 18 install.

I have no files on new laptop, so felt OK about granting remote access, as I had done the download five times.

As far as I know you'll need the Creative Cloud back end as it's what underpins the other applications, updates etc...

The next drama if you ever need to encounter it is trying to cancel your subscription outside of the annual renewal date, despite the fact that it's paid monthly (and you can certainly upgrade on a monthly basis)

Just checked on my old laptop, and have PSE 18 installed aling with Lightroom, and the DNG converter, but no Creative Cloud.  So it looks as though I don't need it, for PSE 18.

Yes I know they're difficult to get rid of, but did manage it after a year of subscribing.
