I have a CCTV dvr Im wanting to sell. PM if interested.

Problem with cheap CCTV cameras is the quality will be very poor. For $40 you can bet they are not weatherproof and will be low resolution (something like 420 or less lines of resolution).

I believe sbiddle knows quite a bit about cctv

What brand is your dvr?

?

Avermedia standalone network DVR with remote and 80gb hd.

I had a mix of swann cameras (crap) and some other no brand ones (not much better).

They acted more as a deterrent than anything else.

Had a 4 camera setup. Search YouTube for my nickname and watch "midnight raid I'm Wainuiomata".
That was the most exciting thing the dvr ever captured. :-)

how much are you looking for your dvr ?

Do the cameras have to have bnc connectors?

How much hours of video can it store?
