I have a dome camera. It is a pelco 100 series camera.

I am not sure on how to hook this one up.

There is the red and black wire which i have wired up to a 12v adapter.

When plugged in the camera does nothing is it suppose to tell me it is getting power?

And also when all wired up and connected to my tv there is nothing at all showing up.

it is all wired up correctly.

I have a bnc to rca adapter connected to the camera then to the tv.

Any hints on what i can try to fix it?

Are you sure it's a 12V camera and not 24V AC?

You may need to read a manual if you can't work it out. Some cameras need switching between AC/DC to work.
