Hi guys im having a prolem with my cctv setup.
I have 5 cctv cameras setup around my house and all are wired straight to my dvr which has its own monitor and is wired to my network for live viewing over the internet and over the network but i have the camera that is in my driveway looking at the gate split to go from my dvr which is in a room with another computer in there and to a single 17" phillips monitor which is a tv and has rf, av, vga and an s-video input. i am using the av input on that monitor to view the camera feed but the picture is shaking.
When i plug that video feed into another tv it is fine. When i plug another video source into the av ports the tv picture isnt shaking.
My cctv setup is ran straight from the cameras to the dvr via coaxial.
ther is a 2 way splitter connected to the camera in my driveway and the coaxial from there goes to the dvr and i have a balun on the other end which is running to the monitor in the lounge
Why is the picture shaking when plugged into my 17" phillips monitor?
Is it my wiring or is it the monitor?
