This phone - which includes 2 x 5MP cameras and a 3D-capable 4" screen - will be available soon. I see a mock-up today at Westfield Albany. Hopefully the real thing will follow on shortly.
Taking 3D photos with a phone will be awesome.

After I was born, I didn't talk to my parents for two years.

Sounds a bit gimmicky, but I am curious all the same.
What would you use to view your 3d photos I wonder? Do you need a 3D TV?

Linuxluver: I don't have a 3D TV (though I'd like to buy one at some point).
I have a "Fujifilm Finepix Real 3D W3" camera. It does both 2D and 3D photos at the same time, so you have both. The spec is reasonable. It's 10mp in 2D and 7.2mp in 3D and makes 3D or 2D video at 720p HD.
...
To me, 3D isn't a gimmick. The depth it adds to every photo of any kind is, to me, like the difference between black & white and colour.
Must have.

Great explanation, thank you (though I must confess turning to Wikipedia for an explanation of anaglyph). To the point that I am now going to go and check out the Finepix camera.

If you want to look at some content, I've posted a lot of stuff on 3DF33D.TV....as I have been uploading from red / cyan anaglyphs to Picasa here.

Thanks, I'll have a look at home tonight. Confirming then, I'll need to put on a pair of red/cyan glasses, just like those from the cinema, to view these properly on the 3DF33D.TV site. Correct?
