If it does I think you're simply going to have to suck it up and accept it. Yes it may be a scam, but if the provider has advised the cost of the call very clearly I'm not too sure what grounds you can really have to claim a refund.
The provider did not advise the cost of the call in accordance with the policy, so I believe I have good grounds to claim a refund in this case. I might have to suck it up initially, as there is little time before the account is due, and getting responses from Vodafone has been an issue with people taking leave this week. We'll see..
Irrespective, I have no intention of letting this lie. I will be happy when
- Spark shut this scammer's 0900 number down
- Spark start taking steps to protect their reputation wrt to the 0900 system
- I receive a refund of the scammed amounts
